You need to schedule a time for cleaning your bedroom. If you don’t then there is a good chance that you keep putting off time and time again. You can see where that is headed. So when you are considering how to clean your bedroom quickly, you need to ensure you get it put on your calendar. If you don’t, you might never do it.
Be realistic. If you are attempting to figure out how your bathroom can be cleaned fast, it is important to remember that won’t be the same day that you will get your shoe collection or closet organized. Resist the temptation of color coding your wardrobe. Otherwise, you’ll end up getting lost inside of your closet for many hours and you might not make your way through your entire bedroom cleaning checklist.
Tidy up. Pick up shoes or clothes that are not in the right place and put them in the laundry or where they belong. Then clear off your nightstands and dressers. Put any magazines or books you aren’t reading currently back on the shelves. Any item with a permanent place on tabletops and dressers – like jewelry boxes or family photos – can be put in a corner of the room. Use a clean towel to cover them. You will find out why you want to do this in the next step of the process.
Clean up. Use your dust mop to wipe the upper areas of your bed and also across the places where the walls and ceiling meet. The goal is to remove the accumulated dust and any unsightly cobwebs also.
Wipe down all surfaces. Dry-dusting furniture is the best method. You can use a microfiber cloth to do this. Wipe all of the surfaces down until there is not any dust remaining. If you would like to polish your furniture after you are done, that can be done using a clean microfiber cloth. Use water to moisten the cloth and wring it out thoroughly before you start. After you have cleaned and polish all of the surfaces in the bedroom take a clean microfiber cloth and then wipe down all of the items that are stored away in the corner and then put them back in the places where they belong.
Strip your bed. By now, your pillowcases and sheets are probably somewhat dusty. Strip them off of the bed and put them in your washing machine. Don’t put clean bed linens on yet. There is one thing that you need to do first.
Make your bed. Once the dust is settled, fresh pillowcases and sheets can be put onto your bed. You can then put on your favorite duvet or comforter.
